Practical in Fundamental Geology introduces students to the basic practical skills required for reading and interpreting topographic and geological maps. The course covers map components, landforms, drainage patterns, topographic profiles, geological structures, cross sections, and geological history. It provides an essential foundation for field geology, geomorphology, structural geology, mineral exploration, engineering geology, and environmental geology.
